- Assessment of PD-L1 in advanced gastric or GEJ cancer is determined by the CPS.1
- Although the result of the CPS calculation can exceed 100, the maximum score is defined as CPS 100.1
- A minimum of 100 viable tumor cells in the PD-L1–stained slide is required for the specimen to be considered adequate for PD-L1 evaluation.1
GEJ = gastroesophageal junction; PD-L1 = programmed death ligand 1.

The PD-L1 IHC 22C3 pharmDx is a qualitative immunohistochemical assay that was used in the advanced gastric or GEJ cancer clinical trial with KEYTRUDA1
- Intended for use in the detection of PD-L1 protein in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens.
- To learn more about scoring and interpreting CPS, please refer to the PD-L1 IHC pharmDx Instructions for Use and the PD-L1 IHC 22C3 pharmDx Interpretation Manual for Gastric or GEJ Adenocarcinoma.
IHC = immunohistochemistry.
